Joshua Sleeper, jsleeper@icantoolc.com

Joshua received a BA is Sociology from the University of California, Berkeley. He received a masters in education with a specialization in curriculum and instruction from the University of Phoenix.  Joshua started working with children diagnosed with Autism and other developmental delays part-time, while attending college, primarily for the Moraga School District.  After college he continued to work with several families and children privately, employing an array of methodologies.  He was hired with I Can Too! Learning Center, Inc. in August, 2005 as a therapist.  He has since held the positions of Supervisor and Case Director.  He is currently the Clinical Director for the Salinas/Monterey Bay office.  He has a daughter that attends our Center-based class, and a wife (Desiree) who also works at ICT.  When we are not playing with ICT clients, we can usually be found riding dirtbikes, or spending time with family.

Ana Pena, apena@icantoolc.com

Ana Pena has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Special Education from San Francisco State University. She has been working in the field of Special Education since 2001 as an instructional aide, teacher, and as a trainer of parents with developmental disabilities. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree in human development. She has worked for I Can Too! Learning Center since 2006 and is currently a Case Supervisor in Salinas office.

Celina Hernandez, chernandez@icantoolc.com

Celina Hernandez has a Bachelor of Art’s degree in Behavioral Science and Sociology. Furthermore, she minored in psychology and graduated from San Jose State University. She has worked in the field of special education and with children that have autism, utilizing applied behavior analysis strategies since February 2008. For more than three years before working at ICT, she worked as an educational assistant of a non-public agency serving children with special needs in Santa Clara County, California. She facilitated a social skills and conflict resolution class. In addition, Celina continually attends lectures that are related to Autism and has been trained in Pivotal Response Training, picture exchange communication systems, SCERTS, and discrete trial teaching.  Celina has been with I Can Too! Learning Center since February 2008. She currently works out of the Salinas.

Kiren Jaspal, kjaspal@icantoolc.com

Kiren Jaspal has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and minor degree in Legal Studies and graduated from the University of California, Santa Cruz in 2007. She has been working with children with ASD and other developmental delays as a behavioral therapist for I Can Too! Learning Center since September of 2006. For almost two years, Kiren worked out of the San Jose ICT branch where she learned how to appropriately utilize applied behavior analysis (ABA) strategies from professionals in the field. Working in close-knit teams she was also able to learn various other strategies to assist in speech and other types of behavioral therapy. In addition, Kiren enjoys keeping up to date with the latest research related to Autism and along with ABA therapy has been trained in picture exchange communication systems and discrete trial teaching. Kiren currently works out of the Salinas office as a Lead Interventionist.

Tamara Pallott, OTR/L, tpallott@icantoolc.com

Tamara Pallott OTR/L, Pediatric Occupational Therapist, has been in the OT field for the last nine years. Tamara graduated from San Jose State University with her Bachelor of Science degree in June of 2001.  She is licensed by the state of California and holds her clinical competencies for her NBCOT certification.  She spent three years working in the acute rehab at San Jose Medical Center where she   honed her skills in the areas of neurodevelopmental treatment and dysphagia.  Tamara soon discovered her love for working with children and has been specializing in pediatrics for the last seven years.  She worked at a small outpatient pediatric practice for five years providing services to children ages 0 to 18 years of age with a wide range of different diagnosis and dysfunction. Tamara has been working at I Can Too Learning Center since January of 2009 specializing in working with children with Autism. She has taken multiple advanced trainings and workshops in the areas of sensory integration, vestibular rehabilitation, neurodevelopmental treatment, oral motor dysfunction, ocular motor and visual perception, handwriting without tears, behavior modification and courses specializing in treating children with Autism Spectrum Disorders.

Keri Allen, MOT OTR/L, kallen@icantoolc.com

Keri has developed a true passion for supporting children and their families in enhancing their lives and celebrating their shared adventures.  Keri has worked with children throughout her life.  Her background in working with children with various abilities within recreational and educational settings and her strong desire to pursue a career supporting health led to her completion of a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from Pacific University in Oregon in 2002.  As an OT, she has enjoyed working with children and their families in addressing areas of concern related to sensory processing differences, sensory integrative dysfunction, autism spectrum disorder, and developmental delay within the home, school, and/or clinic environments.   In addition to supporting children in gaining skills and furthering their independence, Keri loves creating and facilitating opportunities for inclusion.  She has been involved with creating and running numerous play groups (particularly integrated play groups) and camp programs (including special interest and handwriting camps).   With a strong commitment toward professional development, she continues to attend multiple conferences, educational courses, and trainings to further her expertise particularly in areas of sensory processing, sensory integration, autism spectrum disorder, and social/play skills.  Keri was excited to join the team at I Can Too Learning Center in August 2009 and currently works out of the Salinas office.
